Does your life produce?

1. Jesus cursed the fig tree because it gave the appearance of production, but produced no fruit. (v.20-21)
2. Jesus taught the disciples that prayer is effective when it is rooted in faith, and does not doubt. (v.20-25)
3. The Jewish chief priests, scribes, and elders saw no fruit as they doubted and questioned the authority of Jesus, and cowered in their fear of man. (v.27-33)
Application:
1. Consider whether your life is producing fruit for the kingdom of God, or whether your efforts are futile (useless).
2. Recognize that it is faith in God that is the catalyst and foundation for production.
3. Choose to trust the authority of God over the fear of man.
