At Highland Park- we love our children and the ministries they're a part of! Teachers ministering to HPBC's children are prayerfully in place to teach the truths of God's word; each screened for the safety of your children.
Children's Church
Age: 3 years old – 4th grade
Time: 10:30 am (during Worship Service)
Children should be checked into Children's Church before the 10:30am service begins. Children's Church is held in Room 18 in the Children's wing of the educational building. Your children will enjoy a well-planned creative worship experience designed by loving and talented volunteers to teach youngsters about God and following Jesus.
Sunday School
Age: All children and adults
When: 9:15 am
All children (and adults) are encouraged to attend a Sunday School class. Our dedicated teachers bring the Bible to life utilizing videos, crafts, games, and more! There are Sunday School classes available for all ages.
Wednesday Evening Kid's Missions (WMU)
Age: 1st-5th grade
Time: 6:30PM-7:30PM
ROYAL AMBASSADORS (RA)
Royal Ambassadors (RA) is a missions discipleship group for boys in grades 1–5. RA provides an opportunity for boys to grow spiritually, physically, mentally, and relationally with others through missions involvement and character development.
GIRLS IN ACTION (GA)
GA is a missions discipleship group for girls in grades 1–5. The GA Motto is “Go Forward!” and Girls in Action do just that—they grow closer to God as they discover their part in His plan and practice what they learn through hands-on missions opportunities. GA leads girls to a lifelong commitment to Christ, His mission, and His church.
MISSION FRIENDS
Mission Friends is a discipleship group for 3-5 year olds. In Mission Friends, preschoolers develop a missions heart as they move from a focus on themselves to a focus on others. Preschoolers grow toward God as they become aware that God wants everyone to know of His love.
Vacation Bible School
Age: K4 - 6th Grade
When: July 14-18, 2025
Times: 9am-12:30pm
Vacation Bible School at HPBC is designed to teach and instill Bible truth to your children! Whether it's exciting games, creative crafts, dramatized Bible lessons, or choreographed music time, the VBS Directors lead a large number of volunteers to make sure your child's week at VBS is an experience they enjoy and that the lessons they learn will help equip them for life.
Childrens' Choirs
Age: Baby through Kindergarten
When: Sundays, 5pm
Performance: Spring and Winter with other opportunities throughout the school year
The Angel Choir and Bells are for babies through kindergarteners. Throughout the school year, children are exposed to different musical instruments, beginning music theory, and much more each week!
Kids Praise
Age: 1st - 6th grade
When: TBD
Performance: Spring and Winter
Kids Praise performances are based on Bible stories and creatively presented with drama, music, costumes, sets, audio, and video.
