Ready to partner with HPBC ministries? Listed below are just a few of the ways you can get involved.
Child Safety and Volunteer Qualifications
The safety of children, while they are in our care, is our number one priority and the first way we minister to them. A pre-qualification for working with children (birth through age 18) requires a completed background check and a certificate of completion of "Darkness to Light" (D2L) training.
These documents are kept on file in the church office. If you have not already completed a background check or taken the D2L training, contact our Ministry Assistant, Kelli Creswell, at (843) 797-1100 or email at email@example.com for more information. To get you started in the process, the background consent form is available through download or at the church office. The form needs to be signed and turned into our Ministry Assistant (Kelli) either in person, by fax to (843) 797-1100, or scanned and emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If impacting the next generation for Christ is important to you, please consider volunteering in our Children’s Ministries. We are always looking for help with:
Girls in Action (GA)
Royal Ambassadors (RA)
There are also several other children-focused events throughout the year such as HOOPS and Vacation Bible School. Interested in learning more? E-mail us!
Greeters and Ushers Ministry
You never get a second chance to make a first impression. That is why we want to grow our greeters and ushers ministry (First Impressions Ministry Team). If you love meeting people, helping people, and showing the love of Christ to people — you are needed. Interested in learning more? E-mail us!
There is always a need for people to visit those in our church who are either in the hospital or unable to come to church (shut-in). Interested in learning more? E-mail us!
In this day and age media is an important aspect of reaching the world! While ensuring the lyrics to a song are available on the screen or cueing a video at the right moment; this a vital role within each service!
We would love for you to join our Media Ministry Team. Interested in learning more? E-mail us!
Do you love the worship ministry but would prefer to work behind the scenes? The Sound Ministry Team ensures that our worship services go off without a hitch. They are also responsible to ensure that sermons are recorded. Interested in learning more? E-mail us!
