Leviticus 4:22-35

“God Expects Accountability”

1. There was an expectation of accountability amongst the people of God. (v.23,28)

2. The common person’s sin matters to God. (v.27-35)

3. God forgives all who confess their sin and offer a sin offering.  (v.26,31,35)

Application:

1.  Be your brother or sister’s keeper without hypocrisy. 

2. Your sin, no matter what position you hold in this church, matters to God and affects the whole.

3. Repent of your sin and receive forgiveness through God’s own sin offering on your behalf.
