God cares about unintentional sins

1. God does not lower His standard of perfection for His people despite their depravity. (v.1-21)

2. There was a higher accountability for the anointed priests who God appointed to represent the people before Him.  (v.3-12)

3. God provides a place of escape and forgiveness for those who realize their guilt and offer a sacrifice to atone for it.  (v.13-21)

Application:

1. God requires us to be Holy as He is Holy, in order to be in relationship with Him.

2. Jesus fulfilled the higher calling as the anointed priest of God’s Church.  

3. God still provides a place of escape and forgiveness for those who realize their guilt and offer Christ to atone for it.
