While 2011 is a fading memory, we can look back on the year and give thanks that God blessed us in many ways.

 

Even with a struggling economy, our budget receipts exceeded our budget needs. That hasn't happened in quite a while. We are also close to paying off the building and renovation loan. We should be able to retire that debt by the spring. In addition, God blessed us in 2011 with an increase of 100 members - 25 by baptism and 75 by statement or letter.

 

Upward Basketball is going well. I cannot adequately express what all of the volunteers mean to this ministry. If you have not attended any of the games, you have missed a blessing. The entire atmosphere is uplifting. Games will continue each Saturday through February. 

 

Please pay close attention to the announcements in the newsletter and bulletin on Sunday. Children's choirs are starting up soon, as well as two new Sunday discipleship classes.
